HerTechPath expands nationally, achieves charity status, and welcomes new Directors

HerTechPath has had an incredible year of growth and transformation, making strides toward empowering young girls in STEM across Australia. Originally a South Australian association, we embarked on a significant journey to evolve into a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG). This shift enables us to expand beyond state borders, establishing a national footprint that will have a much larger impact on inspiring the next generation of female leaders.

In addition to achieving CLG status, HerTechPath has also been officially recognised as a charity. This milestone opens new avenues for scaling our work, allowing us to give back even more effectively while continuing our mission to inspire girls to pursue careers in technology and STEM fields.

This transformation has been a long yet rewarding process, and we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Our vision for a national presence is becoming a reality, thanks to the support of our growing list of national partners who are committed to making a difference alongside us.

As part of our expansion, we are delighted to announce the appointment of three new directors to the HerTechPath board: Laura Mercurio, Eva Balan-Vnuk, and Geoff Rohrshein Their leadership and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow. We also plan to strengthen our board further in line with our national aspirations.

A tremendous amount of effort has gone into reaching these milestones, and we are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our committee members and partners. Our legal partners at Cowell Clarke have been instrumental in guiding us through this process, and their contributions are deeply appreciated.

With these foundational steps in place, HerTechPath is set to continue building momentum and broadening our impact, ensuring that girls across Australia see that they can be what they can see.
