HerTechPath welcomes Geoff Rohrsheim as new director, joining national expansion efforts
Posted May 16 2024HerTechPath is excited to announce the appointment of Geoff Rohrsheim as the newest member of our board, effective 16th May 2024. Geoff will join current directors Laura Mercurio and Dr. Eva Balan-Vnuk, bringing invaluable expertise as we continue our mission to expand nationally and inspire girls across Australia to pursue careers in STEM.
Geoff Rohrsheim is a technologist with a deep understanding of business. He holds an honours degree in Aerospace Engineering and has furthered his studies in IT and Engineering. With nearly three decades of experience in solving business problems through the strategic use of IT, Geoff’s leadership will be instrumental in helping HerTechPath reach new heights.
As a former EY Entrepreneur of the Year winner for the southern region, Geoff has a proven track record of success. Four of his start-ups have been recognized in national technology-focused fast-growth surveys (BRW, CRN), reflecting his commitment to innovation and growth in the tech industry.
In addition to his entrepreneurial achievements, Geoff is involved in a range of start-up ventures, including cevo.com.au, d6.com.au, and arinco.com.au. A graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, he currently serves as Deputy Chair of ASC Pty Ltd and Chairman of proptech startup RESO. Geoff is also an active angel investor and advisory board member for several Adelaide-based tech start-ups, and he previously served on the Australia Post Stakeholder Council.
Geoff’s passion for South Australia, the IT industry, and the transformative potential of technology in improving business performance and society aligns perfectly with HerTechPath’s mission. His extensive experience and leadership will be critical as we work to expand HerTechPath’s impact and inspire the next generation of female leaders in tech.
With Geoff joining Laura and Eva on the board, HerTechPath is well-positioned to take its mission to a national level, driving greater opportunities for girls to engage with STEM and creating a more inclusive future in technology. We are excited about the next chapter of growth with Geoff on board and look forward to the incredible contributions he will bring to the organisation.
